The Theology department values a model of education that highlights the connections between the head, the heart, and the hands, promoting the interplay between academics, prayer and retreats, and service.
Theology is required in all eight semesters of a student's journey through Pius XI. The curriculum begins with foundational courses (as freshmen and sophomores), followed by elective courses (as juniors and seniors) that offer in-depth exploration of the core courses. The Kairos retreat is a culminating experience for many juniors and seniors. Two Concurrent Enrollment Program courses (Justice & Liberation: Catholic Social Teaching, and Honors Theology) offer the opportunity to earn college credits through Cardinal Stritch University. The Christian Athletic Leadership Organization (CALO) strives to develop future leaders, promoting opportunities for service, socializing, and worship. Faculty |
