Pius XI Hires New PrincipalAugust 2021 - Ryan Krienke has been named the new principal of Pius XI Catholic High School. Mr. Krienke currently serves as principal of Prince of Peace Catholic School on the South Side. Prior to that, he was the Director of Schools for the Seton Catholic Schools. Mr. Krienke has also served as principal of Catholic East and St. Margaret Mary School. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in History and Secondary Education from Valparaiso University and a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from Marquette University. “I look forward to watching our students and staff flourish under his very capable leadership,” said Jack Herbert, President of Pius XI. “I truly believe the Holy Spirit guided this process and brought Ryan to our community.” Please join us in welcoming Principal Krienke.
Pius XI Alumni Earn "40 Under 40" RecognitionCongratulations to Shawna Nicols '01 and Adam Pawlak '08 for being selected for the prestigious "40 Under 40" by the Milwaukee Business Journal. Shawna is the Official DJ and Producer for the Milwaukee Bucks, and was recognized as the Shepherd Express "Best of Milwaukee" Best Club DJ. Adam is the Owner and Chef at Egg & Flour, and he also was recognized in the "Best of Milwaukee" as Best Chef and Best New Restaurant.

Malik Johnson '17 Receives Grammy CertificatePius XI alumnus Malik Johnson ' 17 recently received a Grammy certificate for his participation in well-known Gospel singer Kirk Franklin's album "Long Live Love" in the category of Best Gospel Album. “I believe in manifestation,” Johnson said about accomplishing his goals. “Really focus on your goal at hand [and] don’t be afraid to invest in yourself.”
