Pius XI Catholic High School has issued updated spectator guidelines for all varsity football home games. These guidelines must be adhered to by all in attendance at any Pius XI Catholic High School home football game. Violation of these guidelines may result in removal from the stadium. The Pius XI High School Pom and Dance Team spent the summer months training resulting in an award-winning month of August. Congrats to Coach Schlachter, Coach Herrera, captains Anabela H, Lorraine P, Janiah S., and the team for a successful month representing Pius XI High School. The team also earned an invite to the 2024 Disney All*Star Talent Tour by being named one of the Top teams in the Midwest. Read more here. |

The Lady Popes are moving on to the Sectional Final after their 59-41 victory over Tosa East! Their next game will be on Saturday, March 4th at 1:00pm at South Division High School. Please come and support! If the Lady Popes win this game, they will move on to State. You can purchase tickets here. |

Congratulations to our Varsity Pom and Dance team for their performances this past weekend at the Wisconsin Spirit Championship. Poms was awarded 1st place in the Debut pom division, 2nd place in the Kickline division, 2nd place in the Encore Pom division and 3rd place in the Lyrical division. Lorraine Puhek one 2nd overall for her Pom Solo, Raniyah Edwards received 10th overall for her Dance Solo and Lorraine was also recognized as the 1st place TOP Junior Outstanding Performer overall. AMAZING WORK LADIES! |

The Lady Popes earned their Regional Champ plaque today with a 69-45 victory over Shorewood. The Sectional Semifinal will be held at Whitefish Bay on Thursday March 2nd at 7:00 against Tosa East. GO LADY POPES! |

Sophia de Moya is on her way to the Girls WIAA State Tournament on February 18th! Sophia won both of her matches at Sectionals on February 18th by pinning her first opponent and winning her second match 10-3. She will be competing at the Kohl Center in Madison on February 23rd at 3:00pm. Good luck at State, Sophia! |

Boys Soccer won their Senior Night game with a 3-0 victory over West Allis Central. This win put them at tied for first for the Conference Championship. The Conference Championship will be decided at their game on Wednesday, October 5th at 4:30pm against New Berlin Eisenhower. The game is at New Berlin Eisenhower. Good luck Boys Soccer!

Froedtert will be hosting two physical days at Pius XI in the fieldhouse for all of our athletes who still need a physical. The first one is Wednesday, July 27th 8:00am-11:30am and the second is Wednesday, August 3rd 8:00am-11:30am. To ensure an appointment time, please contact Pius XI Athletic Trainer, Mari Mathers, at [email protected]. Walk-ins are welcome. There is no cost for a physical examination. The last appointment will begin at 11:00am so please arrive early.
All athletes need a valid physical in order to participate this season. A valid physical is taken April 1, 2021, or later to participate in Pius XI Athletics for the 2022-2023 school year. If you have any questions, please contact Mari Mathers.

Jesse Stewart 07’ has been named the varsity head football coach effective immediately. Jesse replaces Jamaal Napoleon after he resigned to take a coaching role with Wisconsin Lutheran College. We are excited for Coach Stewart and the Pius XI football program as they move forward. Coach Stewart believes that building relationships with students on and off the field will be the key factor in the programs future success.
